I gave up on having a nanny a while ago because I realised the quality of skilled manpower in the department is minimal or too highly priced. Also, the fact that I'm a bit of a control freak. But I'm going off topic, the problem is that my day starts at 7 and I power through the day with getting my daughter ready, dropping and picking her up from school, squeezing in a workout, running errands and finally getting some productive work done. At exactly 5 pm every evening I'm pretty done and exhausted. That is when I catch myself groping for chocolates and sugary evilness because although I can cook up a healthy snack or two, I just really don't have the energy.
Cut to this delicious goodness that I was sent a few weeks ago - The Saffola Active soups claim that one cup of their soup is like having 1 chappati because it contains 5X more fibre than other soups.
For me, it means a tasty, healthy alternative that is super easy to make (I mean I literally have to boil water) and it also is so relaxing to have a hot cuppa since I don't drink tea and coffee. What's even better that my daughter loves it too. Like me, after her nap she would often crave biscuit to which I would have to prepare a proper healthy and tasty alternative. On days when I'm extremely busy (or lazy), I opt for this soup for her as well.
There's Rich Tomato, Chatpata Sweet Corn and Spicy Manchow. While they all taste good I prefer the simpler flavours of the tomato and sweet corn. On days I'm not as lazy, I add fresh pepper, coriander, spring onion and even fresh boiled corn to my soups. These soups are a delight for busy yet conscious people who like to watch what they eat. This is going to become the new addition in my kitchen.
