In terms of silhouettes, people get stuck with basic blouses and shirts. Experiment with a boxy crop top; mix it with a blazer or a vest or a long wrap. Wear long t-shirts, tunic styles as tops with your pants as another alternative.
Change up your pants by wearing brogues, wedges or clogs. The natural instinct is to pick a pair of pumps, refrain from that.
Think out of the box with your hair and makeup as well. Pops of pink, orange and red can refresh your look and very dressy at the same time.
Going monochrome with an entire black ensemble and adding a pop of colour is very done, so try and change it up a bit for fun. Try a splash of vibrant colours to a fresh take.
