Eyes.Lips.Face is makeup we came across on Youtube. It was being suggested by a lot of amateur makeup artists and the best part is that it offers some great products at a very very reasonable price. Jasleen's bhabi from the US sent her this eyeshadow palette she's been eying. A hundred eyeshadow for $10 (approx. Rs.500). Here's a quick review:
The colours are plentiful--nudes, browns, greens, blues and blacks. What's great is the fact that while some colours are metallic others are matte while some others are a pearly finish. Not all the pigments are great. For instance, the black is not a jet black but if you do enough layers the final finish is great. The blues and greens are to die for in terms of colour and intensity. The box also comes with two applicators and an in-built mirror. A hundred eyeshadow colours for less than 500 bucks is quite a steal.
There are also some other products in the gift bag which we'll review as and when we try them. For now, we just thought this masterpiece needs to be shared.
Unfortunately, we don't think this brand is available in India (if anyone knows otherwise please infrom us) but you can order in on their website and if you have relatives and friends abroad you can have it shipped too. We so wish we had something like that in the country. They even have 100% organic and mineral ranges for extra sensitive skin, paraben free makeup and what not. We are so loving

nice post really liked it...u shud check out their mineral eye primer, apparently its a complete dupe of the Urban Decay eye primer.
ReplyDeleteas far as i know, ELF cosmetics is available in India, especially in Bangalore and Delhi and have also heard that its available in Mumbai too, but not sure where. :P have been looking around myself too. In Bangalore, I had seen it in the Health and Glow outlets, not sure where its available in Delhi.

100 eyeshadows in 500 bucks!Are you kidding me?It's so freaking awesome!I'm not much of a make up person though.Most of the days,I just dab some sunscreen on,and a little kohl maybe,and I'm good to go.But I do need them a lot during my dance shows and parties.Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteE.L.F is really great for a lot of other makeup stuff too. Their brushes/eyelash curlers are between a dollar a piece, while they have items like eyeshadow pigments and matte lip pencils which are also between $1-3. I love their All Over Color sticks the most-a lot of the shades apparently make for good dupes of MAC products. The quality is fairly decent too, though I own the 100 eyeshadow palette and don't think its pigmented enough. I just sent a whole bagful of E.L.F goodies to my sister. So happy to see you guys have joined the bandwagon!
