Winter bear and a historian effect

Jasleen: I don't know if it's a term in the world of fashion, but I'm calling myself a winter bear. On my way to a late night movie, I get extremely cold in the cinema hall so a two layered top with pleated pants is what I'm going with. The pompom wool hat is something my baby sister spotted so mum offered to buy it for both of us!

Jasleen wore a two-layered top with pleated pants and a winter hat

- It's a misconception that layering with two t-shirts make you look fat, au contraire it can help you hide fat and problem areas.
- Pleated pants are a must-have in the wardrobe for all shapes and sizes, I think it's replacing the skinny jeans for me. See how Jasleen has worn these pleated pants with a kurta here.
- The blue pumps are a new buy that are extremely comfortable with the small heels and add style to any outfit.
-I love the ocean tone. One must experiment with shoes in different colours, I know many people who stick to brown, black and red. Mix colours and surprise your outfits with bursts of colours coming from your shoes.

Sonu: Lately, I have been finding inspiration in history. Fashion was much more original back then. Today I took inspiration from Eva Braun, who was married to Adolf Hitler for less than fourty hours until they committed suicide. World War II bought in a sense of independence to women in the sense of fashion and otherwise. The idea behind the war apparels was to create a fine balance between functionality and feminity.

Inspired by Eva Braun, Sonu continues her love for polka dots

-By now you’ll must have discovered our love for polka dots. See here, here and here.
-Exaggerated shoulders are extremely trendy, they instantly add glamour to a plain top or a dress. Add shoulder pads to a loose dress for some shape.
-3/4 length dresses are the ultimate grandma dresses. They are super chic and comfortable, wear them with sweaters or with a belt or a sling bag.
- Opt for flats with such a dress to look for complete comfort, grandma style. See a similar look here.
-This briefcase is another treasure from my dad’s closet. One way to add old goodies in your closet is by scanning you mom’s, dad’s, grandparents wardrobe. See how I’ve worn my dad’s shirt, bag and mom’s jewellery.
