Colourful prints

Sonu: I had an 11am meeting and I woke up at 10:30. This is the best I could do in fifteen minutes.
Shirt and studs, Colaba Causeway| pants, Zara| shoes, Bandra| bag, self-designed| belt, United Colors of Benetton| watch, Tommy Hilfiger

  • Oversized shirts are my current favourite. They are the go-to thing when you’re running late or simply too lazy to dress up.
  • Wear your oversized shirts with belts, blazers or waistcoats to add some shape.
  • Red denims are unusual and exactly the reason to buy. They effortlessly add colour and spunk to any attire.
  • Ankle length pants tend to make you look shorter, so wear some heels or wedges, especially if you’re are petite and short.
Jasleen: If I were challenged to wear this dress for a month, I think I would smoothly sail in that one. I have worn this dress multiple times as a dress, a blouse, and a tunic. I just don’t seem to get enough. See how I’ve worn this dress here, hereand here
Dress, Satva| pants, Zara| sling bag, Promod| mojris, Delhi| watch, Swatch

  • Wearing prints is a good idea if you want to distract attention of your problem areas. Make sure you don’t overdo prints.
  • If you’re dress is printed then go subtle with your accessories.
  • Mixing prints is in trend now. Be experimental mix stripes with floral prints or mix checks with polka dots.
  • I’m not a big fan if matching my clothes; I like to play with some contrast. I added mojris for that reason.

  9. hi Jasleen
this is jaya.. am a fashion designer from kolkata.
would love to share this with you. i have recently visited your blog and have instantly fallen in love with it.amazing styling sensibilities.
This colorful dress which you are wearing as a top, is from the brand Change!, I instantly recognized it because I am the creator of the piece. The print has been hand painted by me and then digitally developed on fabric.
thank you so much for including it in your style file. You have done a great justice to this vibrant dress.
    take care..
