  4. I'm SOOO glad there's no Sabyasachi... I mean i love the guy and wud totally wear his designs on my d-day but he's over exposed. I'm loving the Kabra!!!
    Jewelry is a little underwhelming though.

    Thanks a lot :)

    @Spardha
    We made a conscious effort to not use Sabya, we love him too but you're right about him being over exposed!
    As for the Kabra look, we wanted to the look to be subtle with the jewellery. Our plan was to be progressively overwhelmed with the jewels and clothes. :)

  8. i find the fundamental flaw in the mehendi styling is that there's too much stuff on her hands... it's impractical. hair for the cocktail's interesting. i feel the peach is neither bright enough nor pale enough for a traditional indian wedding... would look lovely for the reception though

    thank you :)

    These outfits are representations of real life celebrations like mehendi, sangeet etc. The looks have been modified/glorified for editorial purposes.
    We agree with your points, but this is merely a depiction.

  11. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! Brilliant styling and very high fashion!!
    ...I would wear that Cocktail Party look for sure!!

    You two should do an Indian version of that TV show 'What Not To Wear', like Trinny and Susanah!

    You would be brilliant!!! Go on, ask someone if you can do a segment on a show... there are many Oprah like shows on TV there yes? Or pitch a proposal to TV execs about this.

    I am serious. You are both a marketing dream.

  13. sure it's a depiction, but my point is that works as long as it's an exaggeration of real life. anyway this isn't really just about this one particular outfit or you guys, this debate could go on and i think it's a healthy one too. a fashion mag isn't all art; at the end of the day the idea is to sell stuff, and to tell you where/how you can wear it. so maybe a more conscious effort to keep 'wearability' as a high priority wouldn't hurt
