At Hamleys

It finally stopped raining and we could wear something other than old shorts, tunics and worn out shoes. A happy bright sunny day called for some dressing up and that's what we did.

- Mixing prints doesn't come naturally to everyone, to begin with start with mixing neutral colour palettes. Pick one major print and complement with a minor or a safer print. So if you pick your major print as big flowers then your minor print should be a more basic stripes, polka dots or simple checks.
- Sonu even blinged up her cropped jacket with a lovely link patch.
- You can wear this look with and without pants with high-heels and a clutch to fit evening occasions.

-Jasleen has being OD-ing on the wedges because they seem to go with almost anything. Little skirts are her weakness and she spotted some really nice ones recently in floral and graphic prints in the Forever New sale.
- Jasleen wore her short skirt with a basic linen shirt worn outside the skirt, For skinny figures, tuck in the shirt and wear it with a nice belt.
- You can also wear a very colourful tee with a waistcoat and gladiators, but this look is a little young so make sure you can carry it off.
- This same look can be worn with a blouse, a boyfriend blazer and Oxfords for a grownup, vintage look
- Wear this skirt over a dress and let the hem of the dress show, it makes an interesting combination.
